Design and construction of housing development platforms from a redundant stone quarry using existing site won quarry waste materials to provide a platform to sustain a housing development of approximately 170 dwellings.
The scope of work involved:
An existing culvert (Trap Sike) required diverting away from the housing development, together with an existing foul sewer. The redundant culvert was then in-filled with grout. This was carried out with close liaison with the Environment Agency, the City of Bradford Metropolitan Council and Yorkshire Water.
