Cardiff City Council awarded VHE this contract to remediate the front and rear gardens of 46 residential properties in Cardiff, including reinstatement.
The St. Donats Road Estate comprised of four roads, Sloper Road, Newton Road, Dunraven Road and St Donats Road.
The site, part of which was determined as contaminated land under Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act, was contaminated with heavy metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). The remedial work was undertaken in a 46 week programme.
