At VHE Construction, we aim to continuously reduce our site fuel usage and emissions to the atmosphere, whether by using Eco excavators on our remediation contracts or alternative power sources. Working with our site security provider a solar powered security unit has been developed.

VHE have been shortlisted as finalists for the Brownfield Briefing Awards 2018 having submitted Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area in the Brownfield Project of the Year category.

VHE have recently completed work at Greenoakhill landfill, which is adjacent to the M74, in Glasgow.
The works to cap cells 3, 6 and 7 include placement of regulating material, capping with 1mm HDPE membrane, protection Geotextile and placing of restoration soils. The works also required the re-routing of an access road for Border Aggregates whilst maintaining access at all times.
