Over the past 11 weeks VHE Construction have been working in Methil on the Energy Park, Fife for Scottish Enterprise. During that time our Contracts Manager Gavin Broomfield has reached out to the fantastic Methilhill Community Children’s Initiative (MCCI) to ask if they needed any support.
Our site team led by Ray Eades along with Merilin Melesk, Cole Mearman and Ross Taylor have consulted with MCCI supplying materials and constructed a new footpath at the centre over the last week.
VHE have also supplied hi-vis vests in a variety of childrens sizes to enable highway safety training and safe passage along the local roads for the children when required.
MCCI’s Community Engagement Officer Carol Barnes said ‘we really appreciate all the items given and all the works done by VHE workers, all the team you sent were nice and accomodating. They are a lovely bunch of people and hard workers with great communication skills and community spirit. Ross even gave us extra help levelling off an area that we were struggling with.’
