VHE University Placement Year Students – Where are they now?

Jordan Magee was a Geo-Environmental placement student between 2015 and 2016. After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2017 with a BSc (Ind) with honours in Environmental Management and Sustainability Jordan has been working as a BREEAM Technical Consultant to help drive sustainability in the built environment.

One his placement with VHE Jordan commented; “My year in industry at VHE Construction gave me opportunities to take on significant responsibilities, gain practical experience, and work independently and with others on a variety of projects. In addition, I travelled to new parts of the country and had some unique experiences on interesting sites. The skills developed during my year in industry greatly helped me to make the next step in my career.”
