Since September 2014, VHE has been sponsoring the dedicated footballing youngsters of Hoyland Town Football Club under 11’s team. This team of talented youngsters do battle in the very competitive Sheffield & District Junior League, recognised as one of the largest junior football leagues in Europe (itself supporting the Children’s Hospital Charity).
The team are performing superbly well and currently sit in third position in the A League, exceeding all expectations at the start of the season. There are only three games of the regular season to go and they are two points behind the leaders so with a little more hard work and focus they could win the league, a fantastic achievement for everyone involved with the club.
