Once again the outstanding health and safety performance of VHE staff has been recognised at the annual RoSPA Awards with VHE taking the 2016 President’s Award for the fifth year running.
Once again the outstanding health and safety performance of VHE staff has been recognised at the annual RoSPA Awards with VHE taking the 2016 President’s Award for the fifth year running.
This is our fourteenth consecutive Gold Award and is testimony to our continued commitment to improving our Health and Safety performance in all parts of the business. Only 170 UK firms received this award last year and one more Gold Award will see VHE receiving the RoSPA Order of Distinction.
Constant vigilance of health and safety issues across all of our operations is reflected in our zero occurrence of reportable injuries during 2015.
The RoSPA Presidents Award for Health and Safety performance comes hot on the heels of excellent scores received in the same category following the Achilles Audit where VHE scored an exceptional 98% for the Management System and 100% for Site Operations.
Our PUCA safety initiative to Prevent Unsafe Conditions and Acts continues to see high rates of participation from employees across the board, contributing to making VHE a safe place to work.
