We are pleased to announce that another Performance Beyond Compliance Certificate was awarded to Site Agent Gary Moore following two recent visits to the Sighthill TRA Contract 1 works. The certificate was awarded under the rules of the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The site complied with the Scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice by achieving high scores in the following categories; ‘Care about Appearance’, ‘Respect the Community’, ‘Protect the Environment’, ‘Protect everyone’s Safety’ and ‘Value their Workforce’. The project achieved an overall score of 39. The Considerate Contractor Monitor commented “I would like to commend Gary’s efforts to work towards a first-rate image of construction over the duration of the works.”
The Sighthill TRA Contract 1 is a high-profile regeneration contract within Glasgow involving the remediation of contaminated soils and encapsulation of Galligu and the creation of building platforms for both residential development and a new education campus.
