The VHE gasholder infilling project at Meadowhall and the enabling works at Uppingham gasworks, both on behalf long-standing client National Grid, have been recognised as Site of the Month as part of the Stand up for Safety initiative.
National Grid are currently running an initiative to recognise positive SHE performance at site level. Each month every site is ranked based on performance using the number of quality hazards identified and closed out, Tool Box talks undertaken, near misses reported and emergency response drills undertaken.
Meadowhall was awarded Site of the Month in January, with the remediation project at Burton on Trent a very close second. Uppingham was awarded the February Site of the Month.
