Following the opening of a regional office in Cumbernauld in Scotland VHE have been successful in securing a second phase of remediation works at Stane Gardens, Shotts for North Lanarkshire Council.
Following the opening of a regional office in Cumbernauld in Scotland VHE have been successful in securing a second phase of remediation works at Stane Gardens, Shotts for North Lanarkshire Council.
The works involve the recovery of clean soils use as part of a Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) and clean cover system for the former tar and iron works site in the middle of Shotts. The works will also include the construction of an attenuation drainage system and natural stone boundary wall.
