VHE have been awarded another contract by the HCA (Homes and Communities Agency) to carry out remediation and enabling at the Advanced Manufacturing Hub, Serpentine site, on the North East side of Birmingham.
VHE have been awarded another contract by the HCA (Homes and Communities Agency) to carry out remediation and enabling at the Advanced Manufacturing Hub, Serpentine site, on the North East side of Birmingham.
The site, which is in the shadows of both the Aston Expressway flyover (some works beneath it) and Aston Villa FC football ground, was occupied by a former supermarket and petrol Filling station. The 6 week contract will include the break out of slabs and foundations, partial turnover of made ground and clearance of below ground structures to facilitate commercial industrial development of the site. Slow worm fencing will be erected in advance of the works which will also involve the diversion of existing drainage through the site.
