Playing a part with local charities is a way of life in VHE and recently Renew Holdings (our parent company) donated £4,650 (with VHE donating £500 of the total) to The Bradford Toy Library.
We are delighted to have received a thank you card informing us that the donation contributed to a fantastic weekend and enabled all involved to create amazing memories.
The children and young people, all of whom experience physical difficulties, and their families enjoyed a weekend of activities such as canoeing, absailing, rock and rope, zip wire, archery, horse riding and swimming at The Lake District Calvert Trust outdoor centre.
The Bradford Toy Library is a registered charity offering a free loan service of specialist toys and play equipment to children with special needs.
The Calvert Trust enables people with disabilities, together with their families and friends, to achieve their potential through the challenge of outdoor adventure in the countryside.
