The most recent project, located in Burnley, includes infilling of the below ground base of Gasholder No. 5 using a combination of general fill excavated from the site and engineering fill to be imported to the site. The works also include the excavation of shallow contaminated soils including made ground containing asbestos and placement within the gasholder base for disposal off-site to a suitably licensed facility.
For this site VHE have also employed the use of drone technology with still images and video footage captured by NES Roofing & Energy.
