VHE’s success with securing remediation contracts with local authorities continues with a contract for three sites located off Bath Road and Sweet Street, Leeds.
The sites, currently derelict, were occupied by industrial, commercial and residential properties. The aim is to facilitate high density residential development and will involve processing and remediation of made ground, recovery of clean material and the break out and recovery of hard materials to create a clean cap and hardcore surface.
The NEC Option C Design and Build contract was awarded to VHE by Leeds City Council with site works scheduled to complete in April 2018. Alan Wood and Partners are VHE’s designers for the works.
