Once again the outstanding health and safety performance of VHE staff has been recognised at the annual RoSPA Awards with VHE being awarded our first Order of Distinction.
The Order of Distinction is an award that is only presented to those organisations who have achieved a minimum of fifteen consecutive Gold Awards.
This is our fifteenth consecutive Gold Award and is testimony to our continued commitment to improving our Health and Safety performance in all parts of the business. Our PUCA safety initiative to Prevent Unsafe Conditions and Acts continues to see high rates of participation from employees across the board, contributing to making VHE a safe place to work.
The RoSPA Awards scheme judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The award was achieved during a special year for RoSPA, as it celebrates its centenary and the 61st awards year.
VHE representatives will be presented with the prestigious award during a ceremony on the 12th July at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. A huge thank you to everybody for making this award possible.
