VHE have recently commenced work at Greenoakhill landfill, which is adjacent to the M74, in Glasgow.
The works to cap cells 3, 6 and 7 include placement of regulating material, capping with 1mm HDPE membrane, protection Geotextile and placing restoration soils. The works also include the re-routing of an access road for Border Aggregates whilst maintaining access at all times.
The contract was awarded by Pattersons of Greenoakhill Ltd with works commencing in June 2018 and scheduled to complete in August. Envirocentre are acting as designers and CQA. VHE are also currently on site constructing cells 9 and 10 having completed cell 8 in 2017.
