Doncaster Carr

VHE were awarded four separate road works construction packages on the Doncaster Carr / White Rose Way development.

The aim of the project was to provide access and infrastructure for a major development programme comprising retail, industrial, commercial and leisure facilities and to service the Doncaster Dome complex.

These packages ranged from single carriageway infrastructure works, valued at £0.5 million to the construction of dual carriageway lakeside perimeter roads with an access widening scheme valued at £2.5million,

Ancillary works included:

• Mains drainage
• Diversion of existing waterworks
• 800m pre-cast concrete culvert installation
• Street lighting and road signs
• Service installations
• Traffic management systems
• Outfall structures
