VHE offers a wide range of demolition services from the break-out and removal of foundations and other underground structures to the demolition of buildings as part of wider reclamation schemes. We can also crush and process all recovered concrete and hard material to various D.O.T grades and specifications including 6F1, 6F2, Type 1 and Type 2 for reuse on-site. We employ mechanised demolition techniques in order to ensure that materials are carefully segregated, reducing the amount of waste disposed of to landfill and maximising re-use on-site. Our capabilities in demolition and decommissioning have been applied for customers varying from National Power and National Grid, to housebuilders and Local Authorities. We have also undertaken highly challenging decommissioning projects within ‘controlled areas’ of a live nuclear fuel processing plant for BNFL at their Springfields site. Case Studies
