The decontamination and removal of buildings and soils impacted by various nuclear programmes, as well as sites adversely effected by the use of radioactive materials, has long formed a part of our diverse portfolio. Our skills in safe and carefully managed remedial techniques have been applied for customers such as UKAEA, BNFL and the MoD. Key to our success on several occasions has been our close collaboration with our sister company Shepley Engineers. Their record and reputation in working in such potentially hazardous conditions as Sellafield is probably world class. It is a prime business objective of both VHE and Shepley to develop our resources yet further in this sector, with a particular emphasis on the Sellafield site. Case Studies
