Bioremediation Vessel

The purpose of the vessel was to enable the full scale investigation of a bioremediation process which is targeted to neutralise waste contaminants from tar tanks and surrounding ground works. Shepley Engineers were contracted to design, build and commission the vessel

The vessel was manufactured from mild steel plate. It allows approximately 15 tonnes of material to be processed per batch when mixed with 40 tonnes of water.

The vessel is mounted in a frame and has an access platform and ladder arrangement. Controls are fully integrated and telemetric
