VHE offers a wide range of demolition services from the break-out and removal of foundations and other underground structures to the demolition of buildings as part of wider reclamation schemes. On large scale projects we also often manage major demolition packages carried out by established demolition contractors.

Early involvement and control of demolition can lead to gains in programme duration through detailed sequencing and the targeting of critical path areas and activities. In many cases, through detailed planning, this can enable VHE to commence the remediation or earthworks in conjunction with the demolition of existing structures.

Management of the demolition can also allow VHE to maximise the processing and re use of materials, leading to overall financial benefits to the customer as well as the environmental benefits of waste minimisation. VHE has a proven track record in the production of high value recycled aggregates for use as fill, capping, sub base materials and adoptable drainage media.
