Part IIA

In addition to working for national residential developers on new developments, VHE has extensive experience of working with existing householders in carrying out work under Part IIA of the Environmental Act 1990. This involves extensive liaison with residents and regulators in terms of the planning and implementation of such work. A large well trained direct labour workforce has helped VHE become one of the UK’s leading exponents of such work.

As a specialist remediation contractor, VHE has the experience and capability to deliver the most appropriate and best value solution to deal with every type of contaminant found on previously used land. VHE staff are especially skilled in communicating and liaising with house-owners, tenants, landowners, and all other stakeholders in advance of and during the remediation process.

Our Part IIA work has involved demolition of property and buried structures, groundwater monitoring, removal of contaminated material, reinstatement of existing gardens by seeding, turfing, planting, paving and fencing and even pond and garden gnome replacement.
