VHE has extensive experience of operating in restricted environments with stringent safety and security constraints such as those found in the defence and nuclear sectors. This has been gained through working directly on MoD property as well as on facilities where goods were manufactured for use in the defence sector or involved handling radioactive materials or munitions.

Having a large well trained direct labour resource enable VHE to successfully work in such environments and provide reassurance to our customers that all operations will be carried out in a rigorously controlled manner. We understand the constraints and plan and price our work accordingly, so that there is no temptation to cut corners, with potentially serious consequences.

With our stable workforce having the appropriate qualifications and having undergone our stringent vetting procedures, we are able to respond at short notice to our customer’s requirements rather than have to undergo extensive preliminary vetting and briefing procedures.
